Details
A new single-cell 1/2AA battery holder on two 6 inch wire leads, red and black, with stripped ends. Solder the leads in where your machine’s original battery was and put the holder wherever there’s room, and the next battery change is a quick swap instead of another soldering job.
Where it fits
Apple IIGS ROM 0 and ROM 1 boards, where the clock battery is soldered to the board. ROM 3 boards already have a holder.
Details
- Takes one 1/2AA (14250 size) 3.6V lithium cell, such as the Tadiran TL-5101 or Saft LS14250
- Red lead to the flat positive contact, black lead to the coil spring at the negative end
- The leads let the holder sit away from the board, in a spot that’s easy to reach
- Two mounting holes in the base
- Battery not included
Before you order
- Soldering is required. Check the battery’s polarity on your board before you solder: the red lead is positive.
