Details
A new single-cell 1/2AA battery holder with two long (0.5″) bare wire pins. Solder it in where your machine’s original battery was, and the next battery change is a quick swap instead of another soldering job.
Where it fits
- Apple IIGS ROM 0 and ROM 1: the clock battery is soldered to the board (ROM 3 boards already have a holder)
- Macintosh II and IIx: the logic board takes two 1/2AA cells, one for the clock and settings and one for startup, so order two holders to replace both
Details
- Takes one 1/2AA (14250 size) 3.6V lithium cell, such as the Tadiran TL-5101 or Saft LS14250
- Coil spring at the negative end, flat contact at the positive end, with the polarity marked inside the holder
- Two solder pins
- Battery not included
Before you order
- Soldering is required. The pins may not line up with your board’s original battery pads, so you may need to bend the leads to fit.
What you get
One battery holder, no battery.
